Since his early childhood in Cleveland, Ohio, LPs and singles have been his favorite toys. His family's interest in music has played an important role in the growth of his love for music. In 1985, his family decided to move to Orlando, Florida where he continued playing his vinyls and recording tapes.
Dominick James Claus a.k.a DJ Dominick James is something of an anomaly in music. A humbling example of what it takes to truly succeed within the framework of multiple fields. A steadfast work ethic, an obsessively extensive music library and the willingness to pursue the full extents of his roots (House Music), foundation (Hip-Hop) and future (Electronic/Dance music) with no restraints.
Dominick James has been asked to play eclectic house sets, which he sharply forms depending on the time, the venue and the crowd. His unique mixing style cemented his fan-base in Ohio, Florida, Texas and Europe where he is still frequently invited to play gigs. Today Dominick James resides in the great city of Houston, Texas, America’s 3rd largest city. 
In addition to rocking dance floors in Ohio, Florida, Texas and Europe Dominick James has also been privileged to DJ in the world renowned city of New York. One party in particular is the famous Day & Night Brunch party hosted by two astounding individuals Derek & Daniel Koch of DMK Enterprises. The Day & Night Brunch is a party that will last with you for a lifetime and thanks to the Koch Brothers, Dominick James has been privileged to share his music with them and their clientele. “Big shot out to the twins and DMK Enterprises!!!
As of 2010, Dominick James has had the privilege to expand his eccentric style and love for music to those abroad. Dominick James has established himself Internationally DJing in other countries across the BIG pond. “A dream come true!"
Today Dominick is driven to become more and more involved with the industry. Fine tuning his skills and knowledge in the production of music, Dominick James looks to release remixed and original tracks. Just another step forward for the love of what’s best, Music!
